individual.
Whether it is working with children, animals, or the elderly,
volunteering is extremely rewarding. I hope that each and every
member of VolunTeens gets a sense of fulfillment out of helping
others in their community. Just by being involved in this organization,
you can not only receive the required community service hours
for your school, but also feel that you truly made a difference.
The Founders and Presidents of this site, Jennifer and Melanie
Bloom, took it upon themselves to establish and develop an organization
for teens seeking help with volunteering. When they left for college,
they then passed on VolunTeens to Jackie Schneider, who worked
diligently on improving and upholding the site. Jackie, in turn,
appointed Jordan and Melissa Milich, who for the past year, have
significantly managed and expanded the website to Broward County.
Following in the footsteps of my predecessors, I will work determinedly
on keeping this website accurate and beneficial for teenagers
in Palm Beach and Broward County.
The website contains many useful components for taking part in
community service opportunities. The calendar is a great way to
keep updated on upcoming events in the community. There are, also,
lists of organizations in Palm Beach County and Broward County
that enable members to be involved in specific volunteer groups.
I encourage all students to join VolunTeens and receive information
about special events in the community.
The website also includes a section called SPOTLIGHT. This element,
which is updated regularly, will focus on one individual or organization
who is doing their part to help the community.
If you have any suggestions on improving this website, please

Sincerely,
President, VolunTeens.com
