Adopt-A-Street is a partnership between Broward Beautiful, Broward County Government, and participating cities. Volunteer groups agree to adopt one-half of a mile or more of a selected street and remove the litter four times per year for two years. Volunteers are needed to provide organizational help, cleanup supplies, free disposal and Adopt-A-Street signs

Operation Smile is a private, not-for-profit volunteer medical services organization providing reconstructive surgery and related health care to indigent children and young adults in developing countries and the United States. Operation Smile provides education and training around the world to physicians and other health professionals to achieve long-term self-sufficiency. Student associations are being established worldwide, and are truly creating miracles for children through education, leadership, and service. Currently, there are over 250 clubs in middle schools, high schools, universities, and medical schools. These clubs are responsible for raising awareness and funds in support of the mission of Operation Smile. Join this never-ending challenge to take care of the world's disfigured children. It is one made more worthwhile through each friendship forged and culture bridged -- that is what student associations are all about. South Florida Summerbridge at Saint Andrew's School is a tuition-free, year-round academic enrichment program for economically challenged middle scool students in the School District of Palm Beach County. The program seeks high school and college students with an interest in the teaching profession as teachers/mentors. Summerbridge has two program components: a Summer Institute (June-July of each year; stipends given) and a School Year Institute (October - May of each year; internship and community service credit given).
