Adopt-A-Street is a partnership between Broward Beautiful, Broward County Government, and participating cities. Volunteer groups agree to adopt one-half of a mile or more of a selected street and remove the litter four times per year for two years. Volunteers are needed to provide organizational help, cleanup supplies, free disposal and Adopt-A-Street signs.

Join the fun at the Museum of Art / Fort Lauderdale -- become a volunteer! Volunteers support the Museum staff in a wide variety of functions: greeting visitors, working at the admissions counter, assisting at lectures and special events, and helping out at our Creative Summer Art Camp. The Museum also has opportunities for docents. Scheduling is flexible to fit your needs, and training is provided to ensure that you're comfortable in your volunteer position. Helpers for Humanity:  Various jobs are available from clerical to construction during the building of a habitat home. Physical labor from painting to roofing to planning are all greatly needed. Work is usually scheduled on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 1:00 p.m.. to 5:00 p.m. Students must have a signed release form to participate and be accompanied by at least one chaperone 18 years of age or old

Volunteers are needed for this non-profit organization benefiting adolescent boys who have been the victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect. They have thrift shops in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach that are always in need of volunteer assistance. The thrift stores are open 7 days a week. Contact Richar Kheel for thrift shop needs at 561.901.8874. Volunteer help is also needed to test the donated computers at the Boca Raton campus, Monday - Friday.
