South Florida Summerbridge at Saint Andrew's School is a tuition-free, year-round academic enrichment program for economically challenged middle scool students in the School District of Palm Beach County. The program seeks high school and college students with an interest in the teaching profession as teachers/mentors. Summerbridge has two program components: a Summer Institute (June-July of each year; stipends given) and a School Year Institute (October - May of each year; internship and community service credit given).

Breakthrough’s innovative Students Teaching Students model partners middle-school students with college and high school students who serve as teachers, role models and mentors, providing real-life examples that it’s ‘cool to be smart’. Teaching with Breakthrough is a volunteer experience, but living expenses stipends are provided, along with housing and AmeriCorps Education Awards at select locations. Teen Advisory Board @ Delray Beach Public Library (TAB@DBPL) The TAB@DBPL was formed to give teens the opportunity to participate in and influence teen services at the Delray Beach Public Library. Membership Requirements: Ages 13 - 17. Teen Volunteer Application/Model Release and Statement of Commitment. Members must commit to one year of service and a minimum of 75 hours of service for that year. Service hours can be met with a combination of activities: attendance at monthly meetings (1 hr, once a month required) during fiscal year October - September, AND chairing one Young Adult Yearly Program such as Book Discussion Chair and Got Gaming?
