Locks of Love is a national organization dedicated to providing hairpireces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term (permanent) medical hair loss. Volunteers are needed to open mail, enter data, write thank you notes, mail brochures, and more. We are open from 8:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday

Volunteers must commit to work one shift a month for a minimum of two months. For the Fort Lauderdale shelter, volunteers can work Monday through Saturday. For the Pompano shelter, volunteers can work Wednesday through Sunday and customize their time to fit their needs. Opportunities include Adoption Assistants, Greeters and Escorts, and Lost and Found Associates that help to reunite lost pets with their owners; and at the Fort Lauderdale shelter only - Veterinary Assistants.

Volunteers are needed for this non-profit organization benefiting adolescent boys who have been the victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect. They have thrift shops in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach that are always in need of volunteer assistance. The thrift stores are open 7 days a week. Contact Richar Kheel for thrift shop needs at 561.901.8874. Volunteer help is also needed to test the donated computers at the Boca Raton campus, Monday - Friday.
