Dixie Manor After-School Program
Tutors/Playmates: Many volunteers are needed to help with sixty children aged 6-12 after school at Lois Martin Community Center in Dixie Manor, a local housing project. Duties include planning special events, helping with homework, and playing outside. The program is child-oriented, designed to encourage and motivate the kids to live a successful life.

Helpers for Humanity: Various jobs are available from clerical to construction during the building of a habitat home. Physical labor from painting to roofing to planning are all greatly needed. Work is usually scheduled on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 1:00 p.m.. to 5:00 p.m. Students must have a signed release form to participate and be accompanied by at least one chaperone 18 years of age or old

At Coral Springs Mothers of Multiples we are committed to supporting parents of multiples in Coral Springs and its surrounding areas. Volunteers are needed for events that we hold throughout the year. Our purpose is to provide understanding, guidance, and education for our members in matters unique to raising multiple birth children. The volunteers would receive service hours that would help to fulfill the requirements not only for graduation (as required) but also for the Florida BRIGHT FUTURES SCHOLARSHIP program.

We are a non-profit horse rescue facility providing an anlternative to destruction of the horses that have been found to be EIA positive. We are a quarantine and resuce ranch providing opportunities to families and individuals to care for and sponsor a horse. We are in need of volunteers 7 days a week for various horse-related ranch activities such as watering, feeding, and cleaning of stalls. Any individual with grant oand fundraising experience is also needed.
