“Big Brothers” and “Big Sisters” are needed to mentor at-risk elementary students (grades 3,4, & 5) in a structured program in local elementary schools. There are locations available throughout Palm Beach Country at selected schools. Volunteers will have to attend one traininng session. A weekly commitment of 1 1/2 hour meetings is required.

For three decades, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio (RMHC) has been serving families with seriously ill children by providing a home-away-from-home at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House. Service with the Special Olympics begins with the Indoor Games in September. Students can help with Bowling competitions on September 18th. In addition, volunteers are needed to help with various sports practices both fall and spring. Volunteers assist coaches through enthusiastic encouragement of the athletes and often participate in physical activity.
