Adopt-A-Street is a partnership between Broward Beautiful, Broward County Government, and participating cities. Volunteer groups agree to adopt one-half of a mile or more of a selected street and remove the litter four times per year for two years. Volunteers are needed to provide organizational help, cleanup supplies, free disposal and Adopt-A-Street signs.

For three decades, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio (RMHC) has been serving families with seriously ill children by providing a home-away-from-home at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House. From our beginnings as a grassroots movement established by a partnership between volunteers and local McDonald’s Owner/Operators, our Charity has served thousands of families in their deepest times of need.

Join the fun at the Museum of Art / Fort Lauderdale -- become a volunteer! Volunteers support the Museum staff in a wide variety of functions: greeting visitors, working at the admissions counter, assisting at lectures and special events, and helping out at our Creative Summer Art Camp. The Museum also has opportunities for docents. Scheduling is flexible to fit your needs, and training is provided to ensure that you're comfortable in your volunteer position. The Museum has many unusual new exhibitions on its calendar, which means that volunteering will give you the inside track to experiencing firsthand the fun and excitement of working behind the scenes at the Museum of Art / Fort Lauderdale. Broward County Teen Court is designed to prepare youths for tomorrow's challenges. Many volunteer positions are available for teens aged 13 years and older.
Carver Estates Youth Program
Tutors/Mentors. Enthusiastic and committed volunteers are needed to help with youth activities at Carver Estates public housing in Delray. These include homework help, one-on-one reading, computers, inside and outside free play, sports, art activities, gardening, etc. with elementary school age students from 2:15 to 5:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. Also similar activities with our Teen Club members from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Come and join us!
